With your support, we can

KEEP THE ARTS ALIVE

Support the Mission beyond the Stage

You may know Area Stage for our bold, immersive productions, but we’re more than what you see on stage.

As a nonprofit, we rely on generous support to power the work that happens behind the scenes: year-round theatre education, inclusive training programs for performers of all abilities, and expanded access to the arts for our community.

With recent funding cuts to the arts, your support matters now more than ever. Whether you donate, volunteer, or help spread the word, you’re part of something bigger.

Join us in keeping the arts alive onstage and beyond.

 NOT JUST A THEATER COMPANY

At Area Stage, we don’t just put on show-stopping immersive theatre experiences, we build community, opportunity, and access.

While our bold, immersive productions draw audiences in, it’s our deeper mission that sets us apart. As a nonprofit, we’re committed to making the performing arts accessible to all through our Conservatory and ITP (Inspire Theatre Project) programming, which provide high-level training and performance opportunities for students of all abilities, including neurodiverse performers.

For over three decades, we’ve empowered the next generation of theatre artists and created space for meaningful connection through the arts.

Now more than ever, individual support makes all the difference. Your contribution fuels the programs, people, and performances that make Area Stage a creative home for so many.

OUR PROGRAMS

Many of you know us through our MainStage Productions—one-of-a-kind, immersive theatrical experiences brought to life by outstanding actors and creatives. These professional performances reflect the full scope of our mission, often featuring alumni of our very own Conservatory, and showcasing what’s possible when accessibility, education, and artistry come together onstage.

Our Conservatory nurtures the next generation of performers. With professional-level training in acting, singing, and dance, the Conservatory helps young artists grow in skill, confidence, and community. Whether students are preparing for a career in the arts or simply exploring their creative potential, we’re here to provide a strong foundation in theatre education.

At the heart of our mission is the Inspire Theater Project (ITP)—a program dedicated to making theater truly accessible for all. ITP provides performance and training opportunities for artists of all abilities, empowering each individual to take center stage. Through this program, we celebrate creativity and the belief that everyone deserves a voice in the arts.
